I have tested multiple Wine environments including launching from .BAT file (bottles on linux, Whisky on Mac, Kegworks on Mac) and all have the same issue - loads with the error "You have either forgotten to to define set the ENVIRONMENT variable TERM the terminal type, forgotten to EXPORT it to Providex, or have set it to UNKNOWN. Please correct and restart ProvideX."
However, Codeweavers Crossover loads WindX correctly (no error and WindX runs as expected). I have not been able to figure out why Crossover works when the rest of the Wine environments crash.
Wanted to at least leave this for reference to others. If you are having issues with WindX on Mac/Linux, you'll apparently need to buy Codeweavers Crossover. (This is not an advertisement for the crossover product, its just the only one I have found that works.)
