Title: Redirecting Standard Error
Post by: Jerry Fletcher on October 02, 2026, 12:05:14 PM
Hi All,

I have someone who created a python script that I am invoking from inside of pxplus.
Everything is working fine.
However
I'm trying to do some error handling when/if there is a problem.
I have a command variable that will resolve to this long string
"c:\python\python.exe" "c:\script\send_email.py" "c:\args\args_file.json" 2> "c:\errors\error_file.err"

if i do
invoke hide wait CMD$

nothing redirects to error_file.err
i'm forcing errors in the script to test ....it just shows on the screen. it won't redirect to my error file
i 'm in a windows environment...
any thoughts?
