While I don't personally have any experience with Android based scanners, if they have a browser (likely given they are Android devices) and that the scanner simply feeds the value of the bar code into the system as if it is typed, the easiest solution would be to create a web page to accept the inputs.
Now the App builder we introduced in 2019 could be used to launch an iNomads screen, however I'm not certain that's the easiest solution.
My suggestion (assuming the device does have a browser) would be to create a simple HTML application which the users could use to enter the bar code data. You could used Webster+ and perhaps even the Nomads file maintenance generator to manage the basic screens -- although creating HTML pages from scratch with Webster+ is pretty simple.
You could run this using the *ezweb/server on a separate 1 user Web PxPlus license since a 1 user is likely all you likely need to support 5 or so scanners given the design of Web applications. If you want to add security, the Let's Encrypt interface built into EZWEB will provide you the ability to run https.
