Hello,
For one of our clients we are setting up a (or more) web service (s), where we are the receiver of requests and also provider of answers. Has someone the experience how to manage this the best way in Pxplus.
We need to have the web server where requests are received, separated from the data server.
Web server os is Red hat linux with Apache 2.4.
Thanks for helping us and kind regards.

There are any number of ways to accomplish this.

Given you are using Apache you might want to install a Web enabled PxPlus on that server which would allow you to create PxPlus based programs  to receive and respond to the external requests.

You have indicated that the data server is external thus you PxPlus programs could use something like RDP or networked drives to access the data.

PxPlus also has a number of built in web services that may provide some of the functionality you are needing; for example there is a standard Web service that can be used to return data from your system based on a Nomads Query definition in JSON format.  There is another that can return the PDF output of a report defined using the report writer.
