ODBC / Query ODBC database from MS SQL Server?
« on: October 06, 2021, 02:33:49 PM »
PVX version: 1.41.00000
WindX version: 1.41.00000
ODBC version: 5.10.0002
I downloaded the driver: ODBC 5.20.0002 - Driver and PXPSQL command line processor - Windows
and was able to query the database by Excel and MS Access, I can see all columns. However when I use MS SQL and link the App server as a linked server. I can't see the columns. I can see the tables in MS SQL but I can't query it. Which driver should I use in order to query PxPlus ODBC from MS SQL?
When I right clicked on a tables and Script table as - > Select to -> New query editor
It gave this error:
....contains no columns that can be selected or the current user does not have permissions on that object
But I used the same DSN as MS Access and Excel and was able to see the columns in tables.
Thank you!
