Setup pdF output as a device link in Linux?
« on: December 16, 2019, 10:14:01 PM »
Is it possible to setup a device link to pipe thru lpr using the pdf function in Pvxplus?

Instead of changing some internal programming I was wondering if I could just setup a printer that would go to a pdf file.

Hope this makes sense.

Thank you

Kurt

Not certain we understand what you are looking for...

Do you want to be able to create a logical printer that creates PDF files instead of going to a actual printer?
If so you may be able to create a LINK file that has a device driver that opens a PDF file.
