When there is an error with the latest version of Pxplus but not with an earlier version, should we post on this forum or see directly with support?
What is the best practice?

When I find something that is definitely different behavior, incorrect documentation, or bug, I go the Support route. That will generally get their attention faster, and you will be able to interact with the folks that KNOW the system.

The best practice would be to work with your Reseller for any support related questions or to report bugs/issues.
