Title: Menu generation program
Post by: pawan63 on January 16, 2019, 11:19:30 AM
Hi,

For Inomads We are able to generate the Menus using the default menu generation program [ex:(C:\PxPlus\Lib\_ide\inomads\imp_ide_mnu)]. The Menu items are working for default programs (*plus/spawn), but it is not working for our custom menus which are pointing to PVXPlus program files (.pvx and .pvc programs -- I am applying these programs in the file maintainence generated through the data files(task.dat)).
Please Advice us.

Thanks,
Pawan

Pawan,

Do you mean that the menu tasks defined in tasks.dat are not appearing on the iNomads menus or are they appearing but not working?

There is a fields in the tasks.dat data file which is used to suppress tasks from appearing in iNomads.  I believe it is the last field in the data file (trxinomads$) and should be set to "W" to only appear on a web menu, "B" to appear when running either on a desktop or on the web and "D" for only on a desktop menu.

Hope this helps,
Susan

Thanks a lot for your time.

Yes,the menu task are appearing and working. But in the data file (task.dat), when we link .pvx extension program (trxobject) the panels are loading but the functionalities are not working.

Thanks,
Pawan
